Research Information Bulletin--November 2004

Every semester brings new challenges and opportunities to learn. If you are confused about what's changed or what hasn't changed in the library, then schedule an appointment with a librarian, attend a small group class, or bring your class to a Library Instruction session. You'll get the latest information on our services and what research tools we have.

The Learning Express database provides a completely interactive online learning platform of practice tests and tutorial course series designed to help patrons, students, and adult learners succeed on the academic or licensing tests they must pass. You'll get immediate scoring, complete answer explanations, and an individualized analysis of your results. User can set up an account with learning express, and then access from any computer on or off campus.

User can take practice exams from the following categories: Academic, Advanced Placement, Basic Skills Success, Civil Service, College Preparation, Cosmetology, EMS, ESL (Spanish) Skills Improvement Courses, Firefighter, GED, Graduate School Entrance, Law Enforcement, Military, Nurse Aide, Real Estate, Skills Improvement Courses, Teacher Certification, Technical And Career College, TOEFL and US Citizenship.
