access to 94,000+ electronic books, all available online in full text format.

Description

NetLibrary

NetLibrary is a collection of 64,500+ online books searchable by title, author, subject, keyword, publisher, or year. These books can be searched through the NetLibrary link, or from the TWU Online Catalog (the record links directly to the book). Books can be previewed for 15 minute intervals or checked out for 24 hours. You will need to establish a personal account to check out a book. Follow the instructions under "create an account" at the top right of the NetLibrary homepage. If this option is not available on your webpage, contact the TWU library information desk at 940-898-3701 for assistance. Books may be viewed by a single user at a time.

eBrary

eBrary is a collection of 20,000+ online books searchable by title, author, subject, keyword, publisher, or year. These books can be searched through the eBrary link, or from the TWU Online Catalog (the record links directly to the book). Users must download the eBrary Reader to view books. If this option is not available on your webpage, contact the TWU library information desk at 940-898-3701 for assistance. Personal Accounts are not required to access and view books, but they do provide many great features including: note taking, highlighting text, and personal bookshelf. Books are available to multiple users simultaneously.

Gale Virtual
Reference
Library

With encyclopedias, almanacs, specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research, and more, the Gale Virtual Reference Library gives you 24/7 online, full text access to more than 90 reference books. Subject areas include:

History Information and Publishing

Literature Medicine

Social Science Technology
The “Quick Search” feature allows you to search for specific information within a book. Access to the Gale Virtual Reference Library is through the Database list, or you can search for specific books individually by title, author, subject, keyword, etc. using the TWU Online Catalog.

STAT!Ref

STAT!Ref is a web based information resource that provides full text access to key medical reference sources and textbooks. Search Sets include:
Emergency/Critical Care Evidence Based Medicine
Nursing Oncology
Patient Information Pediatric
Point of Care Primary Care
Psychiatry

STAT!Ref permits you to search in individual books, or in some or all of the available titles. Hypertext links within the articles allow you to view tables and illustrations. Access to the STAT!Ref is through the Database list, or you can search for specific books individually by title, author, subject, or keyword using the TWU Online Catalog.

Oxford Reference Online

Oxford Reference Online is a fully-indexed, cross-searchable database which includes more than 200 specialized dictionaries covering 25 subject areas such as:
Art, Biology, Business and Economics, Food, History, Law, Mythology and Folklore, Medicine, Literature, Philosophy, Performing Arts, and Science.
It also includes 18 bilingual dictionaries.
Access to Oxford Reference Online is through the Database list.

Who's Who
on the Web

Marquis Who's Who on the Web, a searchable online database that features comprehensive profiles of over 1.3 million of the most accomplished individuals from all fields of endeavor including: government, business, science and technology, the arts, entertainment, and sports. Search by name, gender, occupation, geography, hobbies and interests, religion and much more. Marquis Who’s Who on the Web provides access to current biographies of all individuals who appeared in any of the following Marquis print titles since 1985:
