Renowned Faculty Pianist to Perform at the Blagg-Huey Library

Internationally recognized pianist Dr. Richard Shuster, TWU Associate Professor of Music and Coordinator of Piano Studies on the Denton campus, will be the featured performer at a Faculty Piano Recital to be held in the beautiful environs of the Blagg-Huey Library on Friday, November 4th at 7:30 p.m.

A distinguished educator and prolific performing pianist, Dr. Shuster has been featured in many recent performances--including George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue--in a variety of venues. His performance at the recital on November 4th will feature works by Ludwig Van Beethoven, Gabriel Fauré, Sergei Prokofiev and Arvo Pärt.

The recital is sponsored by the TWU Blagg-Huey Library and the TWU Departments of Music and Drama. Admission is free and open to the public. The Blagg-Huey Library will close briefly at 6:00 p.m. on the day of the recital and will reopen in time for guests to be seated for the 7:30 p.m. performance. A reception will follow.
