Bookanalia

September 30th thru October 6th, 2012 is Banned Books Week (BBW).  To celebrate it and our inalienable right to read what we please, thank you very much--allow us to present the following cornucopia of assorted literary wonderment from around the web.  A veritable bookanalia, as it were, of bits and bytes for book lovers (and censorship slayers) everywhere.  Pace yourself.

The Bane of Banned Books
by Bill Moyers, honorary co-chair of Banned Books Week 2012.

Pinterest has enough banned books boards to keep any book lover busy for quite some time.

Utne Reader is just plain fun to read, but their bookmarked (with excerpts from new books) and book review series are particularly suited to the bibliophiles among us.

Read something.  TWU Libraries
has a wealth of reading material in its collections, both scholarly and for pleasure.  Use TWUniversal Search to find what you're looking for, or ask any library staff member for assistance.  We are always happy to help you.

Happy reading.
