New Year, New Information

A full listing of the over 200 databases available for use by current TWU students and faculty and staff members
is contained on the libraries' Databases A-Z List, accessible from the
TWU Libraries homepage (under the Research
heading.)
A guiding principal of the TWU Libraries is our commitment to continuous improvement, both in our level of service to patrons and in the quality of the resources we offer.

This month, two databases have been added to the arsenal of electronic resources available through the TWU Libraries to current TWU students and faculty and staff members.  With a Pioneer Portal username and password, the information these databases contain is as close as the nearest computer.

Kanopy Videostreaming is an online collection of videos addressing art, health, science and education topics. Educational documentaries, films and interviews and a range of short videos are included.  Library and Information Science Commons provides access to full-text scholarly articles from hundreds of universities and colleges worldwide.  Curated by university librarians and their supporting institutions, this database includes a growing collection of peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, dissertations, working papers, conference proceedings and other original scholarly work.

For a complete alpha listing of the databases which the TWU Libraries provides access to, with descriptions, see the libraries' Database Descriptions page.

For database or other library-related questions, please contact us in the manner most convenient for you.  A library employee will be happy to assist you.
