It's American Heart Month, and the Blagg-Huey Library is going red.

As part of Go Red for Women, a national campaign dedicated to raising awareness in the fight against heart disease, the Denton campus library is proud to  announce The Pioneer Woman Goes Red, a fashion design contest open to all TWU students and faculty and staff members.  Entrants are asked to create a festive frock for a paper version of TWU's Pioneer Woman statue celebrating the indomitable spirit and heroism of the pioneer women who settled Texas.  Prizes will be awarded for the most creative entries.

Poster-sized entry forms are available just inside the front doors of the library, and near the elevators on each of its other three levels.  Just create your frock, attach it to the poster, and put your name and email address on the back.  Return your entry to the library (a collection box is located on the first-floor Information Desk) by Thursday, February 26, 2015 for a chance to win a prize.

Ready, Set, Go Red!
