It's an annual tradition at TWU, for the best cause of all--our health.
It's fair time--time to mark our calendars for the Well Wednesday Community Health Fair on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Hubbard Hall on the Denton campus (Hubbard Hall is number 30 on the Denton campus map here.) Everyone is welcome, and admission is FREE.
Giveaways, demonstrations and door prizes will be part of the fun. Free services will be offered, including blood pressure checks, vision screenings and HIV testing; and $55 lab screenings (a blood profile and an optional profile for men over 50) will be available by appointment (to schedule a lab screening appointment call 940-898-3833). A wide variety of health-related organizations--including Be the Match Registry, Denton County Friends of the Family, the Denton County Health Department, Paws Across Texas and many more--will distribute freebies and free health information to fair attendees (for a complete list of vendors, see the university's Well Wednesday Health Fair page.) Look for the library table featuring consumer health resources available in the TWU Libraries collections.
It's fair to say, health is important to us all. We hope you will take some time out of your schedule to attend the Well Wednesday Community Health Fair on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Hubbard Hall on the Denton campus. For more information call 940-898-3833.
