Be Informed. Be Safe. Be Pioneer Prepared.

Named one of the safest college campuses in the nation, Texas Woman's University--including the TWU Libraries in Denton and Dallas, and the Houston ARC--is serious about safety.  Expanded in-house security; electronic access after 9 p.m.; and an on-staff Additional Duty Safety Officer are just a few of the measures in place at the Denton campus library alone--all with the goal of secure, stress-free environments in which TWU students and others can study, teach, work, and relax.

Toward that end, the TWU Libraries encourage TWU community members in Denton, Dallas, and Houston to become #PioneerPrepared by attending September sessions on Active Shooter Awareness, Severe Weather Awareness, and Communicable Disease Awareness hosted by the TWU Department of Emergency Management.  Session details left, and on the printable flyer here.  Attend 2 of the 3 sessions for a chance to win a disaster kit.  Free pizza while supplies last.

Be informed.  Be safe.  Be #PioneerPrepared.
