Welcome to Commuter Appreciation Week, designed to showcase some of the many resources and services available to TWU students who travel to one of our campuses to take classes.
The TWU Libraries offer a variety of virtual and physical amenities to make your life easier as you work toward your degree. From research databases; Subject Guides (subject-specific collections of research help); and other website contents, to our library hours; TWU Libraries Mobile; and building amenities (including a Starbucks, microwave, and coffee maker in Denton; comfortable furniture in Denton, Dallas, and Houston; and reservable nap pods--yes, nap pods--in Dallas and Houston), the TWU Libraries operate with your comfort and convenience in mind.
The Blagg-Huey Library in Denton, the Dallas Center Library, the Houston ARC--all are known for their knowledgeable and dedicated staff members. Need research or other library assistance--from home, on the go, or in one of our buildings? Our caring, talented library staff is just a chat, text, email, or call away.
Staying connected may be one of the biggest challenges that come with living off campus. The TWU Libraries invite you to develop your connection to us and everything we offer. Our website is a great place to find research help, writing guidance, citation information, student and faculty services, information for library visitors, library announcements, and so much more. Follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, read the library blog, take a break with our Instagram and Pinterest. Make a habit of scanning the e-signs and other signage around you. Not sure where to start? Contact us with your questions. Have feedback or suggestions? Use our suggestion box, conveniently open 24/7.
However you get to campus, we're glad you're here--and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
