Paws Across the Library

The Blagg-Huey Library's furry friends Hannah, Maggie, Lulu, and Gracie--therapy dogs with the charitable organization Paws Across Texas, Inc. Animal-Assisted Therapy--visited with TWU students and other library patrons on Sunday, May 7, 2017.

As a reminder of another great gathering with these very special animals and their handlers, we are fortunate to have these wonderful photos taken by Library Assistant Jon Turner.

As you can see, it's hard to tell who had the better time--the dogs or the people.

Children's Collection on the Move

The Children's Collection is on the move.

As part of a space planning project underway at the (Denton) Blagg-Huey Library, the Children’s Collection is being moved from its current location on the library's Garden Level to the first floor near the vending machines.

While it is not our intention to make unnecessary noise or cause disruptions for library users, there will likely be extra noise and activity in the library during this process. Signage will be used to guide library users during this transition. For further assistance or to report noise or other issues, please feel free to call us at 940-898-3701 or 940-898-3719.

Spring 2017 finals week at the (Denton) Blagg-Huey Library will include free coffee, popcorn, and massages for TWU students--along with a chance to visit with some super-cute therapy dogs!
